FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT OUR GOAL WAS TO PHOTOSHOP A CAR TO LOOK LIKE AN EXAMPLE WE WERE GIVEN. WE USED PHOTOSHOP TO GET RID OF GLARES, DIM THE WINDOWS, MAKE THE BACKGROUND BLACK, CROP THE PHOTO, AND OTHER THINGS. THIS ASSIGNMENT WAS FUN BECAUSE I LIKED CHANGING THE SECOND CAR. I CHOSE BLUE. DOWN BELOW I ATTACHED THE BEFORE AND AFTERS OF MY CAR PHOTOS.

For this assignment I decided to do macro so I used some peeps because I had some from easter. I needed to get really close up to the peeps face without it being blurry, here is my best one. Aperture - 5.0 Shutter speed - 1/100 ISO - 1600 My Next best: From this assignment I learned that close up pictures are really hard to make nice, I took a lot of pictures to get my best one and 3/4 of them were blurry. I tried with jelly beams and every single picture was blurry. I learned how to make sure the aperture and shutter speed and ISO work nicely and make a non blurred macro picture.
popartThis was a fun assignment. The goal was to turn yourself in to a photoshopped picture. I learned how to use a little bit of photoshop and how to crop and change the color of pictures. Now I know how to do it. Those were the photos that I used for the assignment and how they turned out.
Photo assignment 1- AnimalThis week I chose to take pictures of my dog, because I really like taking pictures of him and thought he would make a perfect 'model'. Technical data: Iso- 1600 Aperture- f- 5.6 Shutter speed - 1/15 Next 5 Pictures- I learned how to get nice close ups and how to capture the activity of animals. It was nice because he stayed still and it made for nice photos.
For my first photo shooting assignment I have chosen to focus on the subject of ANIMALS. I am hoping to work on getting better at capturing the activity of people/ animals/ any type of picture.
- Andrea Michaels Portrait Studio - https://www.thisisinsider.com/comedy-wildlife-photography-awards-hilarious-winners-2018-11 (Courtesy of Comedy Wildlife Photo Awards ) - Sophie Gamand I think these are great examples of capturing animals in action. Some show action in the subject, some show cute faces. I love taking pictures of animals so I think I'm going to try to capture their cuteness and their personalities when I am with my dog and cat. This assignment was about all of the rules of composition. They include rule of 3rds, pattern, symmetry, texture, depth of field, lines, framing, perspective, space, balance, and color. We were told to go out and take pictures with each, find the best one and write about it. Rule of 3rdsThis is Rue of 3rds because it sits on the 3rd lines if you see the grid. patternsymmetrytextureDepth of fieldThis is depth of field because there is a space leading to the subject which is Evie. linesThis is lines because the lines lead up to Ali, the main part of the picture. FramingPerspectiveThis is perspective because it changes the way you look at the bridge sign. SpaceThis is space because it is an object/subject (Ali) this is standing out from the plain background. Balancecolorwhat i learnedFrom this assignment I learned all of the composition techniques and how to use them. I learned how to make a picture better by one simple change. My favorite picture is symmetry, I loved the way Ali stood out in the middle. My favorite composition technique is texture, because I love the way it just stands out. Throughout the assignment I noticed the a technique can make a picture 100 times more interesting because it gives it a purpose, and even though it is difficult to fine some of them, it is definitely worth it.
My name is Adrienne Holloway, I have two brothers- Allen and Anderson, and I have a cat and a dog. I enjoy doing gymnastics, playing waterpolo and doing varsity blues, which is a show choir. I took this class because I really like taking pictures, but I don't really know ho to take them professionally, and I thought this class would help me with it. Also, my dad takes really good pictures and I wanted to do it too. I don't really have experiences with photography, except for taking pictures with my phone.
